Took it to the dealers for its service and MOT.
Still prefer the looks of the mk6 GTI to the mk7 GTIs parked near it.
Sat in the mk7 R and told myself its not for me. I am glad it was a white one not a blue one. I do like those 19s though.
Actually prefer the polos looks.
Went round 9 local dealers looking at cars to replace a family members ibiza and to see what else out there i liked while mine was in. I liked the sepang blue R8 but was disappointed by all the rest.

scotswood road yeah?
Mines been in. dont suppose yours is a red mk6? seen a red one 09 plate parked up. the white r inside was nice!

Finally managed to enable TPMS on VCDS, only 6 months after I first tried

Seems been a 2011 car an extra setting was required in the instrument cluster coding...

I bought a RNS315 DAB head unit a couple of months ago for £200 as the seller had broken the Fakra DAB male plug on the back of the head unit.

Today i received a Fakra Universal Male RG58 Code Z Connector and pulled it apart. I only need the blue and white parts :)

Also bought some Power folding door mirrors and controllers :)

Having decided I couldn't be arsed to wash it today, came outside to find the local pigeons had crapped all over it   Still can't be bothered to clean it, though I've got the bird muck off.  Have been willing it it to rain all day (which of course it hasn't) so I would have an excuse not to do it

Then took it out and caught the wheel on a high kerb parking up in an unfamiliar location.  Already marked, but still hate that stomach churning sound of grinding metal!

Should've stayed in bed today  :undecided:

Gave the car a good clean seeing as the weather's nice! Snow foamed first

And finished product :)

Getting the rear diffuser done in gloss black next week, and colour coding the front lower bumper strip :)

Ah gutted for you. I did the same on my Mark 6, entered a car park a bit too quickly, and caught the rim/tyre on the curb, causing damage to the rim and tyre. Does make your stomach turn :undecided:

As for washing, purchased a K4 ecologic pressure washer, so I gave the new car a good clean. Just need to get a decent lance and snow foam ( waiting for clean your car to renew their stock).
