Just had a quick look on the interwebs for some polish machines..man those things arent cheap!

You only have to buy it once tho'. You can't beat having a decently stocked tool kit that will last you until you are too old to use them anymore.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Also worth searching the internet for discount codes for the website you're thinking of getting your DA polisher from.

Waxamomo, who are sponsors of the detailing section on this forum also run periodic discount promotions. They were running a 15% discount off everything (apart from pressure washers) in early May, so worth checking the detailing section regularly for details of any current special offers.

Forum members get a regular 5% discount by using the discount code ilovewaxamomo

Ahh yeah good point. Just drove from Newcastle to Cambridge, 250 miles, 65 plus or minus 1 mpg! Well happy. Less than half a tank.
