Sat nav help

How do I transfers sat nav screen to main cockpit…? I’ve tried scrolling through with view button but no joy..? Can anyone help please

I’ve tried to put it as my middle screen (my other half can do it on their T-cross) but doesn’t seem to be possible. You can only have navigation to the left or right with arrows /instructions, unless I’ve missed something.

Whether you’re able to display maps on the main instrument display depends on which version of hardware / software and which infotainment unit you have. Check out the table in reply #197 in the discussion thread at the link below;

Based on the information in the table at the posted link, if your infotainment unit is the standard Discovery Media, then I’d say no.

From the table; Discovery Media with hardware version 5H0035816B and software version in the range 1664 - 1668, maps on the AID = No.

Yup, you can't have the maps on the AID with that.

Has anyone tried unlocking this with OBD11? I read somewhere that OBD can now talk to the Mk8 though I'm still sceptical!
