So here goes ......second Mk3 after my 1st one decided to eat itself with rust!

So thought I'd get myself a bit of an upgrade to boot ........(not that I didn't love my little 8v Gti)

Came across this cheeky little number : 16v Gti : More Door : Loads of history too

She' not perfect with the odd bit of rust on the doors, at the bottom of one wing however underneath and arches wise are spot on with the underneath recently being fully undersealed

Welcome to Betsy : gave her a little clean and restored the bumpers and trim (with the exception of the roof spoiler as that's gonna take some work!) also fitted amber front indicators.

Loads of plans and lots of bits to transfer from my old "3" as I start stripping it down and getting rid of stuff I don't need.

So started by getting rid of the cheep Halfords wheels and sticking on my winter wheels (Audi Peperpots)

Other bits include:

 - Stripping out the standard GTI seats and replacing my mint red/black checked Anniversary ones
 - Fitting the Lower Glove box
 - Fitting the Fisher CD holder
 - replaced the centre console for my super clean highline one as the one in it was tatty and scratched in places
 - Polished and fitted my Audi Peddles replacing the standard ones
 - fitted my Mk4 Gearstick and red stitched gaitor
 - Replacing the steering wheel surround which was broken and fell off!
 - Fitted my black cabby sun visors
 - Smoked front anniversary reflectors
 - BMW rear wiper mod

All within the 1st week!
.........

1st little run out to the mother in laws before she gets slammed (the car not the mother in law)  :

just a few more parts acquired over the last few weeks :

Completely forgot I had a set of original anni splits, been wrapped up for nearly 6 year! .....gonna be refurbishing them with a polished rim and candy red centres

Thought it was time for some new coilovers as the H&R's are pretty battered and need a re-furb!

......as for the colour magic rears.....its a growing collection, after all its good to have options!
