Was guna weld it up and stick something dirty and loud in it.

Can't wait to see what you do with her mate. I know you'll look after her that's the main thing.

How was the journey home? Any problems? :smiley:
i thought i noticed this, be sad for you, miss it yet?  :huh:

Seeing her go off down the road on the back of a trailer wasn't too bad really, I've abandoned her since passing my test so I've not really been that attatched to her lately, and  I'm glad she's finally going to get the TLC she deserves. I remember getting rid of my first Mk3, I nearly cried haha.
Seeing the picture of her on somebody elses driveway seems weird though, I've owned her nearly 4 years and never thought I'd get rid of her :sad:
not as bad as seeing the car you sold a week ago on the back of a flatbed, knocks and scrapes everywhere down to the scrapheap cos the twit drove it without tax, mot and insurance mk3 astra, first car at i think 13  :grin:

There's nothing more to it?!

Before buying the car he wanted to know if the floorpan was rotten or whether it was just the sills. The car was too low for me to have a look underneath it so I couldn't answer his question, although whilst putting it onto the trailer it grounded out so I had to go underneath the car whilst it was on the ramps and push it up from underneath and it appeared to be fairly solid!!

well today i started a little bit of stripping, no real shocks lurking so far although there is some water in the rear o/s footwell which i will investigate further when i get the carpet off!

rust free front arches which is nice  :smiley:

the evil rusty rear arches and sills;

rear tow hook

folding seats without a realse leaver in a 5dr  :grin:
