Ahhh man!! Did you cry? I would?
But to be honest it's bound to happen sometime unless you park 2 feet away from everything.
Did you take dealers wheel ins?

Hope you get it sorted.

Just bought an OEM set off eBay, German. £747 inc shipping.
2nd hand and a few marks.... but a damn sight better than mine currently.

So will take the best of the German 4 and make my set.
Then use the worst 4 as winter wheels.

Law of sod.

Absolutely gutted for you.  That looks a pretty complicated colour and finish to replicate for a refurbishing company?  Can the red bit be bought separately?

No it’s painted.
Red is on top of grey, which is then lacquered.

Purchased those, so here’s hoping the best one is pretty good.

The best one doesn't look too bad.  You could get the other 3 and your scratched one refurbed in plain grey for around £200 or so?

That must be so maddening especially on a new car.

It's only a car. Nobody was hurt.

However, I feel your pain. Not nice on a new car.

I didn't cry. Though I did shout "my alloy" in a very high voice :embarrassed: Then I felt  for an hour.

It was not as bad as it sounded. So I'm living with it. Though I'm off to check German ebay.

Feeling your pain made me think of taking alloy wheel insurance.
Dealer obviously gave me a quote when I ordered my car on Friday for all the usual add ons.
I've mange to get GAP full replacement for £250 from ALA, but apparently you can only get alloy wheel cover for diamond cut ones from the dealer when you buy as anyone else repairing them invalidates the warranty on them.
Dealer wanted £260 For wheel cover so maybe worth it considering the cost of expensive diamond cut wheels.

Check the small print (all of it) if you want alloy protection....

Make sure that the insurance doesn't just cover for smart repairs. Many just get a rub down, some filler a squirt of paint. Chrome paint in the case of diamond cuts.

Check the small print (all of it) if you want alloy protection....
Just read through policy notes says" replace or repair" and  "up to 4 claims in 12 month period"
BUT cover is only up to £150 per claim! I'm sure a Brescia would cost a lot more than that if I had to replace it.

Most have all sorts of exclusions... Seriously, I'd not touch it with a bargepole
