The Audi 12v socket cover is a nice cheap little interior upgrade. About a fiver from a main dealer.

Go on then, I'll have one of those! Ordered :-)

The most minor of things possible to do (probably), swapped out the glovebox and boot light for LEDs, and the painstaking/annoying effort of adding DAB station logos to the infotainment (I hate doing that so much). And booked in for a new battery and oil change, was looking a bit murky off the dipstick.

A set of red edged floor mats look good. The OEM ones from either a CS or TCR also have a little tag with a GTI logo. They are a bit pricey so alternatively some pattern ones from an online specialist are worth a go. I find they help cheer up the interior no end  Plus when you come to sell the car, you have a nice new set of mats to put in!

A great one for me that doesn't cost too much, but isn't for the faint hearted is the door warning lights (as it involves removal of the door card, which in itself is pretty easy).

As your car is a 3 door, you would obviously only have to do two of them (rather than the 4 i did)

Whilst you are at it, what about rear footwell lights as well (you can see them here in this pic)?

Also, if you can bag one for a decent price, there's the lower engine cover too (dead simple - 5 minutes top)

And a good illustration of the benefit of the red edged mats I was going on about!

Nice mats! Especially like the rubber ones! Here are mine (much grimier):

Is the red GTI on the steering wheel standard on the current gen or did you find a decal? If so, do you have a link for it?

Hi Vaporise.  I bought a sticker to cover the airbag warning on my sun visor a while ago (sadly) and it was of good quality. I got it from EZM+ (a UK company) and they do the steering wheel decal and many others. They have a pretty wide range and a decent website. https://www.ezmods.co
