I was well upset about sending my 14 year old estate down the scrapyard.

So upset that I bought a 13 year old estate to replace it.

Nope.  Since the turbo went I've had no love for the car whatsoever

Best thing to do is not watch. I was in a foul mood when my Beetle went. After the years of time, money and effort I'd put in I just couldn't watch him drive it away. Just heard it go off into the distance 

Needed a few stiff drinks that night. Still, if I hadn't have sold it I wouldn't have the golf. Silver lining and all that!

Cleaned it and noticed the number of stone chips/marks in the paint is increasing quite rapidly

finished tinting the windows, with the back to be removed tomorow. "parents always know best" my arse. his way was a lot longer and ended up with loads of crap geting under the tint!!!. the rest are looking ok tho, gonna have a ring around and see how much places charge for just the back window cause TBH i really cant be arsed to it

Didnt get that much done i had planned to polish the chargepipe and miltek tailpipes and wash it but didnt wake up until quarter to 2  so earlier thought i'd have a look at why boot doesn't lock with remote and soon found out the cause two snapped wires feeding electric supply to the connector  managed to get them re-connected temporarily and its all working again now.......well happy
