New springs for Mk7
« on: 26 July 2022, 19:32 »
My 63 plate springs have corroded been quoted for replacement by VW dealer near £700.

Not looking for anything flashy on autodoc Ive seen some Bilstein ones all I want to do is replace the ones I have with a respectable replacement.

I can get a friend to fit them, however how does this fit with Insurance and warranty?

A straight swap for aftermarket ones is fine. Only when you are looking at reducing the ride height (lowering) will you need to consider insurance.

As for warranty, unless you have purchased an extended one then they won't be covered anyway. If you have purchased an extended warranty then the same as above applies.
