I had 2 GTD's for 7 years overall. 48mpg long term average and usually about 60mpg over the summer down the motorway.

Seriously, I don't know what you are doing there....

This is exactly what I am getting with my mpg readings

So you won't want a GTI then... its more like 30mpg and 40mpg.... I did once get 50mpg by doing 65mph down the motorway for 3 hours... tbh I never felt like the GTD was slow at all. I only didn't have another because of the hate :(

Yeah I thought that would be the mileage for a GTI. My S3 saloon was horrendous on fuel. My stage 1 GTD is defo quick enough
