I think this is part of the Carnet security and service feature, only introduced last year.

If your car was built before then you won't have it. Mine's a late 2017 build and I don't have it.

Right, I was thinking I must be going mad. Mine's a 2018, with a sunroof. Thought I would've noticed a big red button
