whats the best deal on the custom map on AUM engine

not sure what spec ...but i got all the toys fitted already and want max bhp and torque output ...

Hi what kind of exhaust note can be expected with the Jetex exhaust offered in your Xmas offer for the 1.8t (AUM)?
I'd prefer to keep my car as close to stock as possible, or at least i don’t want it sounding like a Scooby!

Also will this offer run into December? It is Xmas after all!!

Hi Guys,

I got my car remapped by R-tech around this time last year and it's going really well apart from one thing.  I had my service about 10k miles ago and now it requires another service even though my service book recommends a service not until 2011 or 20k miles?

Does an engine remap affect service intervals?

IMO a remapped car should be serviced every 10K anyway as you're putting greater stresses on the engine internals and components due to the remap

In your case the sensors have decided that it wants another oil change - the map itself won't directly change your service intervals but how the engine operates and performs will

Thanks very much, the car is going in tomorrow at Wayside VW for a new cambelt, should I get them to do an Oil change while it is there, how much is that likely to cost?

Have them change the water pump while they are at it for one with a metal impeller as I understand the standard ones are plastic and prone to failure.
Also i'm always a bit doubtful as to whether they actually change the oil when you get a car serviced, so if I were you i'd get some good quality 5w-30 fully synthetic stuff and do it yourself, esp as you've had your car mapped.

Sorry chasp. i anserd my own question there, im gessing it will be the £990 figger as this is for the k03s cars.  Im so stupid.

I am very intrested in this offer and i think i will be intuch soon with you chaps  .

Just one more thing, what cat back exhaust stial will come with this??? Or can we aspesify
