Whos intrested? I was hoping to go last year but couldn't. I am sure JV will help organise this as he is the man! :cool: (hope thats ok mate) So lets start a list (if I remember numbers are limited) -

Every weekend in June is a dub event already! Could try and squeeze it in early May as last year, or leave until August

I'd be up for it. Not sure the tappety oil burner will pull much with only a drilled airbox but it'll be worth a crack!
Any idea what the cost of a power run is? Normally pay £20 - £30 for the mini.

AMD are at Bicester in Oxfordshire.
IIRC the cost was £30 a run last year.

Good bunch of guys up there. They tuned my Dad's VR6 a few years back and sorted out the suspension on my red MKII 8v I had 5 years ago.

There is obviously a lot of interest in this but the shows and events for this year are just round the corner and jv is going to be busy updating this site, doing show reviews, pics and general admin on this site, so I'd say it needs someone else (not me) to take this onboard and get it off the ground otherwise it probably isn't going to happen in the near future. :undecided:

Just to let you all know I spoke to AMD again today, tehy will let me know some dates in the next few days (he promised)
Also we were talking about last years day and they said it was a good day too, they seemed to enjoy it as much as us WTG all

If i remember rightly last years date clashed with Run to The Sun - end of May Bank holiday weekend.
If so i cant make it!

june is a big no no, there's a dub show every weekend in june. as good as power engineering are, im not driving all the way into bloody london :grin:

Whats everyones thoughts on nobles for a RR day?We would need 10 minimum 15 max and would be £38
they can log boost,afr(air /fuel ratio),power and torque on your graph.
Another possibility is jbs autodesigns.
Both in chesterfield.
I could get some mates together if we are struggling with numbers.
Still happy to got to amd when we get possible dates otherwise.

yeah sorry jbs is 2wd ,but i can turn my haldex off and run in 2wd.
nobles is 4wd and probably one of the best/most accurate dynos in the country.
Would anyone be interested in going to nobles?

Ok guys sorry AMD are not doing club rolling road days this year at all but will be having a open day later in teh year here is what they said.

Sorry for the hold up on this. We have had various discussions about
what we are going to do with rolling road days this year and
unfortunately we are not going to be able to offer a club day at the
moment. We are however going to offer a single large open day later this
summer with the opportunity to go onto the dyno but this won't be an
individual club day i'm afraid. Details of this day will be out towards
the end of next month. Sorry we couldn't help out this time around.

I reckon we could do one down at Southampton if there is enough interest? It's not 4wd though :(

powerstation in Tewkesbury do club days as advertised on their website from £29 per car and i am fairly certain its 4wd...depends where people have to travel from tho to get there.

There a new tuning firm near us right in Silverstone circuit, would you like me to try and get an answer of them to if they can accomodate a club day?
There's plenty of parking there, ideal opportunity for a club day out with a BBQ etc.
If you want me to go and get an answer then just shout, I don't how it suits everyone geograhically, there also another rolling road in Aylesbury, who name I am failing to remember.. This suns effecting my memory I think..

g-force is the one in aylesbury although they have a problem running haldex equipped cars.It could be option motorsport near silverstone circuit?Is it a 4wd RR?

Not Option Motorsport as they do not have a rolling road, gstar-dubworld basically sits opposite Option and in front of M.R.Tuning, there is another new outfit at the circuit, of which I've included a link to below.ÂÂÂ

I've just had my S4 set up at AMD and all I can say is wow. The exhaust I'd bought didn't quite fit, they welded home made mounts on and fitted it, you wouldn't get the same from audi. The remap they did got 412ib/ft and 328bhp. total professionals in every way. I'll be at gti Internation :-)
