Hi guys,

I recently joined the forum because I’ve finally picked up a mk4 GTi.. only to find out the 2.0 gti would just about beat me in a 100m race!!
I’m looking to sort that out and slowly upgrade and improve the car but wasn’t too sure where to start really, I’m not trying to make it into a quick quick car but would like to make it abit more reliable and I’m all fairness about cooler.

Any ideas about where to start/ what to do?

The 2.0 non turbo GTI is a goat.
You could smear some wasabi up it's anus, but it would not go any faster.
