Lads i need a good set of tyres for my car. I have proxies on drives side and conti on pass (yes i know) anyway pas side wheel spins sooo easy. Im thinking about getting proxies. Can anyone tell me which other make is good?
Now i dont do track and my car is an anni with a vr in it. So i have the bbs rx2s on it. Need to get 215 40 16 but which letter should i get at the end of it?

You wheel wouldn't spin if you just put the proxies on the front and contis on the back...

Anyway, V is the standard speed rating (last letter) these days and is good for 150mph. So is fine for road use... Mostly.
It's a mk2. Fill it, drive it, enjoy it.

Also that's a very poor test of tyre.

The passenger side is more likely to kick up a fuss anyway as the driveshaft is far shorter.

I run Avon ZZ3 on my anni and they work in both wet and dry conditions (better than the toyo's that were fitted!!).

The biggest issue is the limited makers of 215/40x16 tryes (not all do them and some charge lots of ££ It's only the MGF and newer Audi A1 that run that tyre size other than the anni)
