Title: Wheel size
Post by: a.morris99 on 24 August 2020, 15:34
Hello everyone i'm new to the forum and i'm very interested in buying a second hand golf gti mk7. Personally I think the upgraded 18inch santiago alloys look better than the stock ones but there are a lot more examples with the stock wheels. Has anyone done an swap to a bigger alloy? Is it a simple on off swap or is it more involved? Thanks. :)

Santiago's are 19 inch.

The standard wheels (in the UK at least) are either Austin's or Parker's; both 18 inch.

It'll be a straight swap to go from 18 inch to 19 inch, just make sure you get the tyre sizes right. It should be 225/35/19 for the Golf.
