Picked her up from the dealer!
I'll attempt some photos when I've stopped driving/staring at her!

My OBDeleven arrived this morning.

After a quick scan to see all was well with the car, I disabled the stop/start, amended the coming home setting to automatic and tried the "pace car" rear indicators.

I will see how I get on with these if any need reverting to standard?
What's the pace car rear indicators? I'm looking for vcds things to do and at the moment my list to do is front dimming indicators. Any others that people can recommend??

Pace car is outer indicator then inner indicator flashing.

Search VCDS on here as there a long thread running I'm sure.

What I coded was automatic coming home.
Headlights and fog lights used for coming / leaving home
Fog Lights coming on for full beam.
Inner brake lights activated
Audi style dimming DRL's when indicating
100% DRL when headlights on.
fan display when using Auto.

I'm sure there are others I coded but can't remember.

Where are the pictures of your car?

p3asa what do you mean by "inner brake lights activated?"

I have since added amount of fuel to refill, which could be useful?

Cheers.

Can the pace car rears be done with vcds? Definitely be doing auto coming home and dimming front indicators. Do the inner break lights being on make it too bright?
Some pics of mine on the detailers Facebook page. DDB detailing.

The whole strip will light up for the brake light rather than just the outside.
On this video the passenger side has had the mod done.

@mcmaddy Yeah its bright but I always activate my hand brake at the traffic lights so the brake lights go off.
Once you have the mod when you see other Golf on the road they just look so incomplete

The pace car thing looks a bit silly imo. But the full brake lights is a MUST! It just looks wrong / incomplete the way the brake lights work as standard imo.

I did have a simple loom fitted to mine that mimicked the Audi style pulsing indicators. Removed it again though after a few weeks. Must try selling it actually.

I agree about the alternate indicator lights, looks like a bad earth to me.

Yeah I don't like the pace car look either.

Can I ask why are you selling the Audi style adaptor?
Is it correct that when plugged in, the red LED that shares the same space with the indicator, no longer lights up?

Yes, you're bang on and that's the main reason I removed them again. It's a small thing but once I noticed it, it bugged me. The effect was quite nice though. Better than that pace car look anyway imo!

Here's a video of them working in my car: https://youtu.be/UnLk2AsO16o
