"N" Reg mk4

Hi, just a quick query.

Yesterday, I saw a N reg mk4 golf.

Thought this seemed old.

When was the mk4 released?

Private plate or a mk3 with mk4 bits stuck on

MK4 was 1997, so must have been on a private plate as N is 95

It was a mk4 for sure.

Must have been private.  But it didn't spell anything obvious.

Looked exactly like a normal plate too.

To begin with I though it might have been a fake.

mad what people seem to call a 'private plate' these days  lol

seen a couple of mark 4's on r reg's !! and i defo know one was 100% one as it was my friends car.
