I am a witness to the torture the old tires had gone through.

The sidewall had NO writing on them, they were THAT abused!

That's what I call driving! :afro:

Oh, after the IOW visit I now know why DH HATES lowered cars....Some awesome road layouts, but sadly they didn't get the surface quite right!

You ain't seen the best stuff.

It's not that they didn't get the surface right, it's that it was right a very long time ago.

Check this route out from a few nights ago.

It's all about the suspension travel.

Steering knuckle unseized.

HUZZAH!

Cambered in slightly on the front, too.  There's not nearly as much movement on the camber bolts as on the Golf, which is running G3 bolts.  Added to the limited camber a touch by releasing the bottom balljoints and pushing them out as much as possible.

Getting it tracked up tomorrow, thank f*ck.

Released the rear engine mount again - vibes reduced a touch, so all good.

Then moved on to the Golf.

Busy in the improvised-soon-to-be-improved workshop last night.

Quick swap over to a different set of rims, releasing the new T1-Rs for use as a wet tyre at Brands on Thursday.
