Yeah it was Philips in Lisburn, always pleasant to deal with.

Yes they are great to deal with I’ve bought all my Golfs from them
Currently have My wife’s MK7.5 Performance pack and my Clubsport S and have a MK8 Edition 45 and a GTD on order
Tbh I wouldn’t even try anywhere else as they are always 100% to work with

Fitted the Forge inlet hose last night. Was a bit of a squeeze to get it in there but definitely can feel an improvement in throttle response and turbo noise.

The breather was a bit of a nightmare to get on as it’s just slightly stretched but check this morning and it seems fairly secure after a quick road test last night.

So despite there being no stock of Brescias in the VW UK network, I was able to source a genuine brand new set with new tyres from my local volkswagen at a great price

(The mark on the edge of the rim is just tyre lube)

How much were you able to snag them for?

4 for the price of 2 and free tyres 

Wow that’s insane! Did they have other options?

A few different alloys not sure what they were though as they were all packaged up.

Was the only one they got think there were 3 that came into NI when new
I’ve had it just over 5 years now been tempted to change it a few times but just can’t part with it when it comes to it
It’s never had a thing go wrong with it it’s been properly cared for even been over serviced but that’s what has stood by it

They're a fantastic car, especially with prices the way they are now and the reviews it would make it harder to part with.

Yes you would have Darren did the PPF for me when I got mine, I've seen yours there a few times as well. Even with the calibre of cars they look after yours still stands out from them.

I’m in with them once and a week but 4 times a year they basically carry out a full detail and top up the ceramic coating and wash and reapply the ACF 50
I remember looking around your car and commenting just how nice it was
They definitely have some nice cars in there to work on and Darren just got a MK8 R

Small update - The alloys are now ceramic coated in Gtechniq C5 and I put my red centre caps on.
