Finally got round to ordering VCDS, great service from Marshalls Industrial.
I can finally get round to replacing my VAQ diff oil now, once ive managed to source a laptop.



And managed to bag a bit of underbonnet bling off Ebay for the bargain price of £21 posted, and its like brand new.

Received a quote two repair two small parking scratches. Total is £300. Might just get the worst one done for 155. Car is 7 years old in June though..

Not my money but I'd get both done or not bother at all. I did a similar thing with a previous car and the one I didn't get repaired always bugged me.

Reminds me that I need to get some touch up paint or a smart repair quote after I scraped the MIL's car the other week

I'll upload some photos when at my computer but I was surprised at the cost. Not so much the cost of the repairing the worst one (back bumper) but that the second more minor one was almost the same again. We all have to make a living I guess.

So despite there being no stock of Brescias in the VW UK network, I was able to source a genuine brand new set with new tyres from my local volkswagen at a great price

(The mark on the edge of the rim is just tyre lube)

First scratch looks like it would buff out, if taken to a detailer, second are those deep scratches? looks a bit like paint transfer the way the photo is taken.
