That’s just bizarre - assuming all the quotes were from the same insurance company, I wonder what the logic is for Remap + OEM upgrade alloys being £50 cheaper than Remap only?

So if fitting upgraded OEM alloys reduces the premium by £50, if you just go for the upgraded alloys on a standard car without the remap, I wonder if that would reduce the standard premium to £240? 

Just ran it through Go Compare again with just the alloys........ £258!

So, er, money saving tip, add wheels.

I've put it up twice and taken it down twice, I've had a few enquiries one person wanted it for 6 months while waiting on their car to be built! (Must've been a Bentley to make a golf look cheap!)

To be fair I have it up at a price I feel is high but in reality it's fair for the PPF film, 2 services included and 18 months warranty. But I can't bring myself to sell it, because it's a stupidly good car for everyday 

Also it's been 6 months since the last oil change, so I'll need to book that soon.

I'm thinking I will be, having spoken to someone in VAG group the climate dials on newer golfs definitely isn't for me or many people apparently, and I'd only end up putting the money into a trying to get a mk1 or mk2 golf by mistake.

But we should hopefully have some sort of GTI-NI meet soon enough, if you're for going to Eurotreffen I'm tempted to go.

I fitted my new BBS XR 19'' alloys last week, replacing the standard 18'' parkers.

I tend to overthink everything visual about my cars, and was unsure at first, but I really do think these wheels are handsome and actually look like they are made for the mk7.5. The car drives far more smoothly on the larger rims too, which was unexpected!
