No love here for those Vossens . I'd go as far as to say I prefer the Richmonds.

Agreed.  They really don't suit the car at all imo, but each to their own.

Think the BBS ones above would have looked way better... like in this example https://carbuzz.com/news/vw-golf-gti-mk8-stands-out-with-new-body-kit

Now that is harsh, but at the same time more than fair! :)

At least with the Richmonds you sill have the potential and optimism of an improvement, rather than abject failure.

You'd also have some a few quid still in your bank account to pay for something tasteful

did you find the screw a bit of a bugger to get in all the way? Mine doesn't screw all the way in but cover is fully attached 👍

I used a spanner to fit mine and it went in no problem, just had to really make sure it was going in straight. plastic nut head was not ideal.

Given my car interior a major clean today! I am pretty bad keeping interiors clean and guilty of leaving mine to develop in its own unique way for months on end! You wouldn't have wanted to see it before-hand!

Also fitted some small decals onto the interior door pulls and to cover the passenger side sun-visor EU warning labels. I am not usually a fan of decals and the like, but these are really good quality and would recommend (nice smooth finish - pictures don't do them justice!). Have got exterior stripes to add down the bottom sections of the doors (clubsport style) too.

Well the GTI celebrated it’s 3rd birthday recently, and as it hadn’t been cleaned since late March (shameful I know), decided to give her a full decontamination wash and polish with a couple of coats of C2V3 that I had in the garage
