Good tyre choice, I’ve had them on mine for around a year apart from a few months in the summer. I found the feel was very sensitive to pressure, I am running mine at 36 PSI all round.

Good to know Paul, mine are currently on whatever ATS put in them but I will be checking them when I get the chance.

Definitely check the pressures.... they are bound to have over inflated them and it makes a lot of difference to the feel of the car even by 1 or 2 ps.

I will do Fred, just as soon as it stops raining.

I took the scenic route home with my lad today. Realised how good the R is on a very very wet B road. Incredible really.

Washed, did all the usual checks then put it in the garage for a few days out of the rain..

Then down south in the Alhambra for a few days in the new forest. Highlight of the trip? This..

A thing of beauty. I couldn’t take my eyes off it. £ 5700 in 1981 ( that’s 22k in today’s money)

I wonder whether the mk7 will look as good in 40 years time?
