Sounds fun! 4000 miles? I bet most McLarens don't manage that in a year!

Cornwall to Amalfi via Germany and Switzerland. And a few detours en route. N’Ring, Goldfinger pass,Lake Como, Florence etc etc.

My view is there’s no point having the car if I don’t drive it.

Fantastic. I’ve done countless top to bottom trips through Italy in many cars (mainly hire cars). The least memorable- a fiat marea weekend.

Yep plenty of after market DSG shifters available for a lot less than the S2T's - no need to spend that kind of money.  But it's a bit I look at and touch every time I drive the car, and given I just spent £31k on that, figured a couple of hundred quid on the best you can get was worthwhile.

That was my thinking when I bought the Racingline alloy paddles. Look at them every day, use them every day, lovely addition. They should have been standard on the GTI.

Finally replaced the front race pads that came with the TTS brakes for some less aggressive road ones as they squealed like made and gave off far too much brake dust. The TTS calipers are great in terms of pad replacement as nice and easy change.

Where did you get the footrest from Aidey?
Did you have to 'fettle' or was it a straight fit?
Cheers

Superskoda is the best place to get these from.

Ooooh that looks good. This is one of those things that I keep thinking about doing. Do you have the ebay link for it?
