Early morning wash and then topped up the Gtechniq C2 ceramic coat...... took ages, as in hours... I am not a detailer.

One thing I learnt, I will not be doing that level of cleaning prep again before the winter.

Another lovely drive out to the supermarket . Beautiful day, really warm so had the sunroof open again . Amazing the difference the warm weather makes to economy, 22 mile round trip, 40mpg! And I did give it a good boot where possible

This involves my old car. I was run into by an artic in January 2017 but because it was foreign registered my insurer was having difficulty sorting it out. But today I received a cheque in the post refunding my excess!! Amazing! But how about the £100+ per year my premiums went up by as it was down as a 50/50 fault when it should've been down as the other party?

Think any accident has some impact on premiums regardless of fault?

Definitely, but not as much. The second accident (agreed as not my fault) didn't make much difference. I've had three renewals since then and I've had to pay enhanced premiums through no fault of mine. Pretty happy with the cheque today though!

Pity the banks are closed though for paying it in!
