Thanks everyone for the kind words and I will reply to the private messages as soon as I have photos of the items.

In terms of the 4 indicator change above, have you tried reseting the light settings after you have made the change - I think it is under car, settings, factory settings, reset light settings...

Aha, no I’ve not. I’ll give that a try - thanks.

Sound acktuator is now definitely off and I’m not sure what to think to be honest. The engine is so quiet! All the noise comes from the exhaust now. I’ll leave it a few weeks and see how it goes. I might be inclined to switch it back on again but at 20% volume or something.

Throttle response - it feels a little different but not how I was expecting ie there is still a slight lag when pressing the throttle before the engine responds so it’s not like S mode without the red-lining. I might change this one back.

Quick wash and talked bollocks to the neighbour for 20 minutes all before 9am.

Now sat in VW getting my key fob replaced under warranty whilst taking advantage of their free hot drinks 🤓

Sounds dangerous. They may give it a complimentary wash with a Brillo pad and a bucket of gravel...

First thing I said - "could you put DO NOT WASH on the job sheet"

Whoever thought of the idea of a free complementary wash and vac wants shooting!

Keep eyeing this up. 41k though, for that money I'd go next door to BMW and buy the M2 they have on their forecourt.

Love the colour of the golf, I'd even keep the stickers on it.

Pretty sure no-one would actually pay £41k for one though!

Gorgeous car but £41k is about £500 per year for the first 5 yrs in VED. That would p me off no end. I’d have to lose the honeycomb stickers too, but that’s just me.

So they've coded the new key but wiped all the maps, phone won't connect and Android auto is now asking for an activation key.

Any ideas?
