Got the opportunity to give the car a good clean, inside and out including the engine bay, which doesn't happen very often.
I had recently bought myself some BH Auto Foam to replace the last batch of snow foam, and I am very impressed. Spent a bit of time before hand and worked out the correct ratio, I ended up having to put 525ml in the snow foam cannon, but I used less than 200ml so that should last a fair few more washes. I actually liked that it didn't foam as much as others, and I could see it being used as a contactless wash throughout the winter, when I don't have enough time to give it a proper wash.
Its in need of a proper machine polish and seal, but that'll have to wait till Easter time.

The list of things I want to do to it continues to grow though

A few pics of the finished results.

No I have to agree, I use around 550ml. they suggest you work out your panel impact rate to calculate your ratio! I try it with around 200ml and then tried it with the suggested Pir (550 approx.) and the results where so much better.... ok your 5 litres isn't go to last as long but this stuff is not exactly expensive considering its the best on the market!!

Way too much!!!!! A detailer would go out of business using that ratio

I agree but I'm not a detailer.... and if you use the 550ml approx. as manufacturer suggested (PIR) to make up a full bottle I can just about get 3 washes from it if you're quick and efficient as this stuff is so potent that you don't need buckets full! I know everyone does things different this just works for me.... and happens to follow manufacturer levels.

Fair enough. I find about a 1/5 of the SF bottle with Bilthamber AF works absolutely fine. I see Instagram posts with thick foam that doesn't run off and at that point, the snow foam isn't doing its job.

To be fair even at those ratios it isn't heavily foamy, its still more snotty than anything and the dirt it drags off is unbelievable! Also tend to nip round with a detail brush and a spray bottle of green star for the nooks, also another amazing product. After that a wash is just a formality, which is nice in winter!

Had my car in for third service, brake fluid and mot today. Got given a brand new e golf as a courtesy car. Was very impressed how smooth and quiet it was.
TCR, Pure Grey, DCC, Dynaudio and Climate Screen.
