Just got back from a nice couple of nights in Weymouth. Our friends have a new Seat Ateca, 1.5 petrol DSG. I thought it pretty good, interior was comfortable, roomy and of a decent quality, plus the familiarity of design with VW group parts. Looked very smart on the outside too, I liked the ride height and it rode well. An excellent family car in my opinion

took the GTI to a local VW dealer, ive just put it on a 2 year service plan with them ,A major / minor and mot included

i have issues with the sales dept and their attitude however service dept is exerlent to deal with , offered to wash the car ( declined )

video report of it  , nice hospitalty .vehcile inpection and they topped up the washers ok it nothing to write home about to some but think it deserves a mention .a pleasure to deal with .love the car

I picked up mine on Saturday! Totally chuffed with it! Totally standard 18 plate GTI in Tornado Red.

Driven DSG's for years, but really enjoying having the manual box again!

Not slightly bias then?

I decided long ago after a run of red cars that I wouldn't have another but I must admit I think it really suits the GTI, especially the 3 door! nice cars gents.

I've no idea what you mean  Mind you, GTI_Scott didn't give a door count, my endorsement may have to be reconsidered if it turns out to be more than 3

GTI Scott has got a door count in his signature..... prepare for disappointment!!

That said I'd have gone 3 door personally but these cars have to be the perfect all rounder and getting a nipper in out of the rear seat would be a nightmare long-term!!
