Looking good there Watts, a much better contrast.
I’ve just been sat behind a red FL GTD for half an hour or more in traffic and the new tails don’t look as good as the pre-FL darkened ones.
The car colour makes a difference as to whether the dark tails make much of an improvement or not. On the red it definitely does.

Cheers, yes definitely better. Next job is to swap round the wheels as my tyres are now on 10k, need to clean and seal them at the same time plus give the calipers a bit of tlc too. Then I can enjoy the CS centre caps

Got a shard of wood into sidewall of tyre on commute this morning. Got pressure loss warning. Tyre is toast. Pumped it with compressor I keep in car to get to garage. Bad luck

I'm very pleased with the end result, I think the original lights looked a bit fussy. Will keep the old ones though for possible refitting when I sell my car.

Got a new stainless steel exhaust fitted. Very pleased with how it looks and it sounds better too :)

Took the clutch delay valve out

Definitely feels better with the assist spring removed and this done

I've removed the assist spring and added the clutch stop but didn't get around to this mod, are you able to say in what way it has improved? Cheers

It makes the clutch bite point more consistent and reduces the feeling that your slipping the clutch when pulling away

With the delay valve in place the bite point varies depending on how quick the fluid can move back and forth. Going from 1-2nd gear the bite point is noticeably different

It now it feels a lot more normal

Also done the direct throttle setting on VCDS. Not massively noticeable but is slightly better when pulling away.

Thanks, I need to get around to that then.

It’s not hard to do probably took 20 minutes bleeding the clutch with a vacuum bleeder
