Any recommendations for a decent company in Manchester to do this?

Depends on the wheels and what needs doing.

I have used The Wheel Specialists in Welcomb St, M11 on several occasions to refurb my BBS CK's and they have done an excellent job each time but they are not exactly cheap...  Are they as good as Lepsons? Probably not

Trip to Lepsons beckons.

Seriously though at least it is the same wheel that was damaged before.

On the plus side, at least it's not a diamond cut face. I know lepsons are good but there's always the risk that the diamond cut comes back looking slightly different.

Still need to get one of my BBS wheels redone after I did the same - although with slightly less dramatic results than yours.

Ouch Rebecca nor good hope you get it sorted within a decent budget.
I was lucky 2 weeks ago got a puncture coming home from a BBQ we were on the the M1 3 inch bolt through the tread and out the side wall luckily enough no damage to the santis and my tyre man refitted a new Pzero wit out any marks too although the tyre was £160 fitted small price to have a perfect wheel at the end of it

What a mess
It somehow seems worse when it's a Pretoria as the factory finish on them is so nice.
Could be worse though, my wife's A3 needs all 4 wheels refurbishing before it gets sold in August.
Any recommendations for a decent company in Manchester to do this?

Hopefully you'll find somewhere decent to get your wife's wheels sorted.

I've heard it can happen to men too.  Who knew!

My mouth said "bugger".  My head was doing what you said.

Yes grateful for small mercies.  Sorry to hear about your BBS going the same way. Hope you get it sorted.

You were lucky, could have done a lot of damage if it had hit your wheel. Still a pita for you, these tyres aren't cheap are they.

I'm pretty sure a bit of gentle rubbing down with some wet and dry to get the worst of the burrs off, followed by cleaning up the tyre sidewall will see it looking nowhere near as bad.
It's only for a few weeks anyway.

I use the local Porsche dealership for wheel repairs, they do an excellent job.

So good when you find a reliable fitter, worth their weight in gold.

Took the wife's for a spring which has not been used for a fortnight, some spiders have been made homeless and will be getting attacked with the cleaning products later this afternoon.
