I'd checked this a while ago when I had my White GTD. The GTI PP calipers are very different and have two holes drilled in them that the 2 posts with their locking clips on the back side of the "GTI" logo plate slide into. We don't have that design on standard GTD/GTi models. Also PP models are (IIRC) 345mm discs and GTD and standard GTI's are only 312mm, so they might be different from that standpoint as well ?

**edit== oops just seen Exonian beat me to it **
I'm surprised the GTD can even stop with that size disc

Just spotted this on the AVForums that I frequent

Might be of use to someone on here and I'm sure that price is negotiable

Well spotted Sootchucker.
I wonder if that cover thing is available to buy ?
PS
Actually I've just looked at an old picture of my front brake caliper and it appears to be a different part altogether.

The callipers on the PP are the same as Audi used on the B6/7 S4 and the plates will only fit thoes callipers.

PP calliper covers can be bought here.

Hight temperature double sided tape anybody?

I thought they were cheap at €22, but that's per side, so €44 a pair.

But the PP and non PP/GTD have different callipers.

On a side note how the hell did you make 'here' into a link? I'm too old

Mr GTD, out of interest, where are you going to put the caliper stickers ?

I ask as the standard Calipers don't have the smooth cover plate that the PP GTI has, and instead has a big scallop cut out of the units right back to the brake pad ? Can't see where they would fit ?

[/url

Oh if only I had that pic earlier..

Oh Well, when there here (and the car is ) I will test fit them before committing but I think I can safely say they mostly won't be fitted.

£6.50 down the drain...but at least it's not £650 I suppose.

My red LED bulbs turned up today so I finished off my rear footwell lighting mod to match the red ones already in the front.

That looks the business

Is this the harness here as carsystems seem to have a couple of different versions?
It says in the description its 1 x wiring. Does it just run from one front footwell light?
How do you hide the cables as it looks like a decent mod?
