Gave the car a wash prior to its first service tomorrow. How tragic is that! I don't want it looking too unloved.

I have let them know already that I don't want it washing/ vacuuming. I'm no detailing freak but I'd rather any swirls were due to my incompetence rather than a VW numpty with a gritty sponge.

Used the last of my Autoglym wheel cleaner - any suggestions on a replacement? I need squirt on, leave and then rinse. Nothing too expensive or complicated!

Great job Mrparkuk, lovely reflections. Hope the garage treats it with the respect it deserves. Need to get mine booked in for it's first service now, hopefully my garage will look after it better than they did when they owned it...

Cheers Watts. Much appreciated. Yep, some dealers really have no idea off the efforts we have to put in to own/ maintain our cars. As a non millionaire I have to look after and respect the big ticket items I have.
