Gave the interior a vacuum and dust yesterday and today a good wash. Wasn't as dirty as I thought but certainly looks much better now:

The dealer had fitted a bumper protection plate to the rear which has been getting on my nerves as it was trapping seemingly enough water to float a battleship. Found out why today, it came off and upon examination I noticed a lip at the rear edge which is supposed to sit over the drop of the bumper whereas the dealer had fitted it too far forward. So it had never been sitting flat. Numpties. And they have fitted my rear number plate wonky. God knows what they are capable of given a real problem to solve...

Are you going to refit the protection strip?
My A3 number plate was slightly crooked for 9 years. Drove me mad but couldn't be arsed fixing it.

Probably not as it is marked where the tailgate kept catching it ('cos it shouldn't have been there - doesn't fill me with confidence should the car need any repairs).

As for the number plate, I will probably do the same as you - moan, but do nothing.

Had my car serviced at 37500 miles yesterday only to be told I'd need my DSG oil changed at 40k at a cost of £179. Cheeky buggers. Not impressed.

Nice.
You need to get vcds to code your brake lights to use the full clusters. Always looks wrong to me the way it's set up from factory.
