The usual commute (it is actually 22 miles according to the car, even though AA route planner states 24.3 miles), and the mpg has crept up a little with the better weather/more miles on.
It's a few miles doing 40/50mph, through the Tyne tunnel, about 18 miles doing 70-80mph (depending on traffic), and a few miles 30/40mph the other end. On the way home (but not the way in) there's a bit of traffic midway through the motorway spell, and i'm getting 31.5mpg. I get a few acceleration spurts in when the car has warmed up. The car still seems to take longer to get to a decent mpg running Esso Supreme rather than Shell V-power, and seems a little less urgent on acceleration.
Will give Tesco Supreme a go next, as there's a huge Tesco right by the new place of work with a Tesco (non-Esso) filling station.
