I had the same thing when my car was two days old. A PDR guy will be able to sort it for 60 notes.

On a side note I curbed my front left alloy today. The damage is about 8 inches long right at the edge. I could have cried!

My bro is a bit of a car nut and regually restores old cars. When he saw the damage he said take some wet and dry sand paper to it and re lacquer the edge of the wheel yourself. No harm in trying I said to myself so off to Halfords I went.

Wow you should see the improvement after a simple sand with 240 grit and finished off with some 1200 grit paper. Well happy!

Thanks guys for the info,I thought I had got away with anything bad happening on Friday 13th,obviously not. Fortunately the paint is unmarked ,possibly down to the wax on the car.

I now have a  massive List of jobs to do before I pickup my golf R

Get door repaired
Get revo map off car ( which is a 60 mile round trip)
Get new window screen fitted
Alloy wheel refurbished
Get it serviced

Removed all of the irritating stickers the dealer plastered over my car. One on each side window and one on the rear screen (which wasn't even stuck on straight). All nice and clean now though.  :smiley:

Realised the R boot is small. Two pillows a single duvet, box of cereal and two 27l plastic boxes it was done.

this is the only thing that bothers me with the mk7.the boot is too small, yes it may be deeper but the other dimensions are smaller.

took my wind deflectors off this morning as my drivers side window kept refusing to close, it didnt fix it but looked better so i lef them off. windows fixed itself now but by god did i get dripped on using my ecig this morning, they may have to go on just for winter it seems.
