They are the VW Rotary which are more anthracite than the picture suggests

I like these a lot.  Should look superb against night blue.

I put a set of these on my mk6 GTD a couple of months ago, along with some decent rubber - a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric 2's. I like the Rotary's a lot; much better than the diamond cut VW Charleston's (and the original Bridgestone's) I had on before, and no whiteworm to worry about!

As Rebecca says, they should look good. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Did this yesterday in my GTI...

Long day driving but I emerged with no aches or pains whatsoever. The GTI/D is a brilliant cruiser and I'm quite happy with 40mpg to be honest. It was mostly motorway driving but with loads of stop/start and about 100 miles of slow A-Road/town centre driving so pretty good.

Yes, the GTD will have used less fuel, but 40mpg is just fine for me. The DSG box and the adaptive cruise made the motorway sections of the journey totally effortless. I've broken past 10,000 miles in my GTI now, well on the way to 11k and it's been utterly brilliant.

That's very impressive especially since it's really cold too (by UK standards). Not bad for a 200+ bhp hatch!

Did the winter wheel oki koki as the council are starting to throw salt around.....Not ideal wheel size at 19" but I consider them shabby and id rather not have the polished GTI wheels on over the winter.

To be fair to the Falken 452 tyres they have proven to be pretty blooding good in the snow and ice.

Also tried out some bargain OEM Seat Sport wheels I got...

I think it looks tremendous actually. The M-Sport looks great and as long as the Xenons/tinted glass is fitted, looks marvellous.

Boggo SE/Sport models with standard lights look terrible IMO.

That looks superb mate! My mate has one in what I call "ginger" and it looks so much nicer than a boggo spec 1 series. I'm a fan of the subtlety and love the side on view with the obscene brake discs

If you look at a normal spec golf in comparison to a GTI/GTD/R I see the same huge differences comparing a 135 to a normal 1 series. It's all down to individual opinion obviously
