Chatter.....?

Usually this opens a can of worms lol

As you can see i have a Ford as a 2nd car and it runs EFi and chatters away quite nicely on its T3 Turbo, now the question i ask is....

Is this possible on a Golf or are their turbo blades fragile like on the Garrett GT series turbos?

On a personal not, i much prefer the sound of chatter to a DV

I blocked mine off and the chatter was the nuts but it does stall your turbo and shorten the life of it

Yeah this is true, its only stalling it tho.  If the VeeDub turbo's are as good as i hear they are - i don't think it'll be to much of a worry, plus if it does go....... Upgrading time

you can get the chatter using a split r dumpvalve can you not??

Yeah mate Im from Erith I had mine doing it for a while and had no adverse effects, my mate has run his for a year and its sweet, if you want me to do it for ya pm me

depends on what kind of cone filter you got, the pipercross ones make a ching sound when on recirc only, cotton cone filter gives the flutter
