careful with low mileage cars too, parts such as bushes etc can start to fail that higher mileage cars have already had replaced (talking from experience)

Bushes are hardly something terminal though.

ive got siebon carbon fibre bonnet, wings, boot, spoiler, poly rear window, r32 seats, brembo 323mm brakes, r32 steering wheel, bora vents, miltek anni style, genuine anni kit, brand new ko3s turbo, jbs manifold, forge FMIC, bbs ch wheels, chrome rocker, chrome inlet, brand new o2j ECW gear box with wavetrac LSD etc etc plus its just had a full respray at a cost of £800

sorry also forgot eibach coilovers and audi TT steering rack, wishbones, hubs, arb, etc etc

Thats not anywhere near 10K...... Unless you've got mug on your head. So pretty much mine without 2k of carbon, the £400 brembos, a cheapo respray, a diff and some dipped parts and some Konig seats.

how did this post end up like this? peoples cars are there prize posessions. Anyone can ask for how much they want depending how sentamentle it is, i think its a reasonable price, mileage may be a little high but cmon, we all know a well treated golf can reach 250k! its a nice car

im not desputing that mate all i said was his golf was overpriced, i know mine aint worth £10k but ive spent well over that in parts btw the brembos were brand new and cost £1200

You wont get that money for it any time soon thats why you been trying to sell it for months. Maybe if somebody falls in love with it but that price is rediculous

No but it can still end up costing a fair bit to replace it all if you can't do the work yourself
