'STOP! check brake fluid'
« on: 05 January 2009, 21:59 »
hi

just had the above flash on my dash, it also says to check service manual, the most obvious thing is to check the brake fluid level (too dark to check now) but would this flash for anything else? ie a sesnor of some kind.....

thanks for any help

If the level is up between the markers, then it could well be the sensor that's built into the cap.  You get this light come on when you turn the ignition on with cap off.  ;)

its probably cuz the level was at full/max when your pads were new, they are prob worn now which needs more fluid in the caliper pushing the piston further making the level in the bottle lower,

plus clutch is hydraulic which takes a feed from same bottle
