Been reading this during quiet periods at work. Big rspect to you for doing this on your drive basically, shows us what's possible if you just get out there and do it.

The lack of garage and cash is what makes it interesting, otherwise it would be just another build thread. Adds some drama to the story.

Thanks..... appriciate the feedback a lot and your patience to read through it all but you could have saved yourself plenty of time in MK1 Projects as its only 11 pages without the natter.

Wohahahaha... Mods!?... how about just making it all work like it should...

Personal and Work life is mad at the moment, it's becoming a joke.

No mods but before winter kicks in I would like to get the things done that take little or no cash.

Front Fogs back in
Get a Flexi Joint between Manifold and system which will hopefully sort it out once and for all
Try and source a warm up reg and hope that fixes my running issues
Possibly re-tax it for a bit so I can have a bit more fun in it before taking the engine to bits!  :shocked:


Then in between engine works:
Take screen out and fix leak
Source and fix any other leaks (got one in the boot)  :sad:
Get some fresh underlay then refit carpets,
Board out the back and carpet it all (already got the carpet)
Do some more wiring upgrades.

And sh*t load of other stuff that may have to wait until winter has passed.

shaun get on it mate. it sucks not having money or time. thus my mk2. i just got lucky by working in a garage now so i can use the welder and ramp and get discount prices on parts from all over.

keep p the good work mate, i wanna see this back up and running by the new show season.

who said anything about another bonnet  :lipsrsealed:

worst bit on the whole bonnet  :laugh: there is a majorly minor slight dent but you cant even see it then again it is silver and not black  :evil:
