Hello from New Zealand
« on: 15 January 2006, 22:52 »
Hi all,

Just saying hello from Auckland, New Zealand. Anyway, I've just been surfing the net looking for information of Golf GTI's so I thought I'd have a look in here.  Looks great so far.
I've just recently bought a 1999 Golf GTI 1.8litre turbo, but don't really know very much about these cars.

I've just crossed over from the dark side to the world of VW Golfs from the Mitsi Evo's.  (It was a big bridge to cross, but I'm here).

I'll be popping in now and again to see whats happening, and will most probably be asking for some advice and looking up info on these crazy li'l cars.

Cheers

Hi ya Ema.

As usual I will ask for photos - the car or you, or both!

So any plans for the car? After an Evo it must be quite a difference!

Welcome. You make a wise choice! Golfs are awesome cars. :)

NZ is a beautiful country, especially when you get out of the citys and drive around the coast. Im hoping to ride a motorbike around it in a few years. :)
