Title: New to Golfs!

Hi, thanks for a great site and helpful forum! A rare thing. I am in Cornwall and planning my first Golf GTi project and thought I would hang around here to read all your old posts and steal your ideas :)

I always wanted to do a MK1 project on Ronal or BBS rims, stock looks, nice paint and a turbo 1.6 :) I have built a lot of other cars from the ground up and have built my own Turbo Mini so not new to projects.

If anyone has a nice stock looking, (not body kitted, not my bag...), MK1 golf for sale, doesnt have to be a GTi, small light models especially, in the South West then please let me know!

Its what i hope to achieve when i get the cash to get me a decent mk1 :)

as said he's a big faker! but its a bbs spoiler, was part of a complete kit.......

Whereabouts in Cornwall? I live in Swindon but got relations down there so know the place better than my home county!!!
My lot are around the Bodmin/Lostwithiel/St.Austell areas.
