Refitted my R600 intake, but left off the turbo inlet this time, but added the coolant hose re-route hose and air filter overlock.

Also enquired about Revo Stage 1, but I'm still not sure as I haven't remapped before, also whether the TCU needs mapped as well?

Sorry guys can someone please point me in the right direction of the small rear tailgate lip spoiler that I'm sure has been mentioned on here before.

Was it a DiY stick-on?

There you go, yes it's fixed with 3m tape. I personally didn't like the aliexpress one and bought a genuine one.

Cheers - gulp.... now found the vw part number and looked up the price... £260 from Spain or £295 from Germany both would incur taxes to the UK I guess?

Can you not order it from your U.K. dealer? I did and it arrived within 3 days to pick up.

Mind you that was in 2021. I seem to recall it was around £260.

It does give a lovely little kick- up to the profile.

Sorry I should have said why I didn't like it! I looks identical but I didn't like the quality of the paint, it's single-stage paint so it scratches far easier, it's more textured as they use rapid hardener to dry the paint & there's some defects in the paint.

Majority of people won't have an issue with this, but I'm fussy.

Yeah sorry it was late and was just checking eBay and online... if I go for it then I'd go to my local dealers.

I have Revo stage 1 and it's really really good. Would the TCU tune show a benefit? Probably, and I might get it done, but it's not necessary. It's probably something you want to go with Stage 2 and up.

For those Mk8 owners who say they don’t care what their dreadful replacement engine covers look like…… just appreciate how nice that Mk7 looks under the bonnet.

Personally, I clean under the bonnet every time I wash the car. It’s part of the pride of owning a GTI in my view.
