Gave it a wash and dressed the tyres with my new cleaning products  :smiley: also sorted out my front lower engine cover to get it to sit properly and altered the sai pump brether filter again  :rolleyes:

Re-located the sai filter again!! to a position i'm happy with now  :grin:

Sprayed up and fitted a new badgless grille to replace manky old one.

I let my wife drive the Mk2 today for the first time in 7 years!.... as I was dropping my mates Aston  Martin Vantage back to his house, and needed picking up, Its fair to say that she struggled to keep up :grin: :grin:

Woke up had coffee took my tool box and starter motor stuck three bolts in didn't do them up said Feck it and went back in!  :lipsrsealed:

replaced a broken clutch stop. - pain in the arse!!!  but after about 4 hours of messing around, i now have a quick n easy method if anyone needs it  :smiley:

not quite.   just a case of 2 tie raps to tention it, then cut em off once fitted
