Mk2 Heater Matrix..... looks like it's been bypassed.....

I just fitted a rado matrix.  Supposedly more reliable.

I've done about 4 of these and it's a fiddly job that requires plenty of cups of tea and fag breaks.

Chuff is spot on with cleaning the new matrix first. Clean it off with white spirit and then wash it with fairy liquid, they stink otherwise.

well its months since i did mine and it still stinks  but it was changed during its winter lay up

Aswell as plenty of tea and breaks you will also need a box of plasters! and if you can bend your body in half and dislocate your arms it will be ALOT! easier,not a nice job at all

in the end i called a f**kit and may have cut a section of bulkhead out
