You can mock   It was car washing versus a doze on sofa island.  Sofa island won.  It's been a long and stressful few months with little end in sight, and sometimes you've just got to give in to apathy   :undecided:

Maybe I give the tail pipes a wipe over in the morning....tart it up for the week ahead
you chillax or what ever the in people say booth 11 more to life than keeping your car clean I have no choice but the back finally had its op so onwards and upwards you take care of yourself hope hubby is on the mend and yes give them pesky tailpipes a wipe

Haha, I hate the word chillax   I know there's more to life than a clean car

Hope your op went ok charlie.  My other half finished with chemo and radiotherapy but now going in for an op on Sunday, removal of lymph nodes, salivary glands etc, he'll be in for a week, so fingers crossed that all goes ok.
all went well thorough job by different surgeon thanks booth (Rebbecca) :smiley:/)hope the week passes quickly for you and all goes well

Are those the yeti pipes ? I bought these last year for my MK6 GT TDI but got a little freaked out while fitting them they seemed a little hard to get them on?

yes they are.

If they were too easy to put on, they'd be more likely to fall off. Some light taps with a nylon hammer was all that was needed.

THIS, took a fair whack to start then it was a case of small taps all round and they butted up snug with no rattles.

Had my rear led units fitted last week, they look great and I'm really glad I went ahead with them. Yesterday had my graphite grey GTI side stripes fitted. They look amazing  I had they professionally made and fitted by a local company who I always use and they really do add to the car.

Am I best taking them with my iPad or a digital camera?

JDM82, you'll need a Photobucket or Flickr account to post pics on the forum.  Easier to upload directly from an ipad.

Take pic, upload to photobucket or flickr account, then either copy and paste IMG code into your forum post (if using photobucket) or copy and paste BCC code into post (if using flickr)

Chased a rainbow this morning on the way to drop the car off at the stealers for a service, I didn't find a pot of gold mind ...

Got told that I would have a car just like mine, theres me thinking a new GTI or a GTD as a courtesy car, but no a Golf 1.6 Bluemotion, how disappointed I was. Even driving it like a rental only achieved 52 MPG, so went on the eco and got ...

So on the way back i tried the same with the GTI, and was impressed with what I got ...

On the plus side I'm back there next week having the boot struts replaced for free under warranty.
