This guy has painted the top and bottom part of the dipped beam section, wouldnt that affect the light output though?!

I reused mine.
Once I done the mod, I heated it back up with a heat gun and put the glass back on with the clips. Then I heated the glass just to be safe it sealed.

I haven't had any problems with mine

Yes it would  :smiley:

Doesn't have much of an effect tbh, none of the reflectors have been painted - I know because I modded them for Kempie :tongue:
