Has anyone out there had any experience with leakage in the power steering hoses/pipe, just had a call from the garage carrying out the MOT that I had to replace two hoses, one was ?117 from Volkswagen and the other was part of the power steering unit and means replacing the whole lot, the mechanic has suggested getting said hose made up by a local hose supplier, is this a common fault?
Any help/advice/past experience would be appreciated.
