Washed the car then used the wax that Watts recommended a few days ago (FinishKare 1000P).
First time used, very impressed. Interesting to see how it lasts.

Added the rear wishbone aerodynamic covers from the MK8. These are supposed to prevent stone damage to the rear wishbones but mainly aid the aerodynamics and air flow over the rear suspension resulting in a slightly quieter rear end and allegedly slight better fuel consumption. Not sure if they will actually do anything but I’ll let you know. All the parts and fixings only cost £25 anyway. Excuse the dirty undercarriage.

Looks decent does that! Easy to fit ir need modding to suit?
Do you have a link to parts required?

Do they make any difference or have you not noticed as yet?

Finally got around to putting some cable ties on the bonnet release junction box, so that's one less thing to go wrong.

One of the first things I did to my Clubsport when I got it last week.

Along with vacuuming, cleaning and treating all the interior.

Very sensible, I had visions of it breaking just as I went to fix it.

Glad you like it and your car looks great

Driven back home after a nice few days away. 260 miles today and 44mpg! Was forced to do quite a few long sections at 60mph which helped if a little frustrating.

Don't suppose you could post a photo?  I'm having trouble getting my head around this - what goes where, so to speak.

Not read all that, buts its a good idea to lubricate the bonnet catch mechanism too.

A stiff hard to pull bonnet catch is asking for trouble from the already fragile plastic cable junction box.
